Does registering with Roots & Culture mean I have a costume?
No.

Since costumes are subject to availability they will only be reserved once payment has been received in full.

How do I register in Roots & Culture, how do I pay for my costume ?

Can I make a down payment?

YES, but full and final payment must be made before costume pick up..

Who are your DJs on the road?

Our DJ will be DJ WAYNE

Where is the band starting from?

The band will meet at the corner of Georgia & Missouri Aves. N.W. @ 10:00 am sharpe. The parade starts at 11:00am.

When do I pick up my costume?

Costumes can be picked up at the  Mas Camp. Please make arrangements by calling one of the Executive Board members. The Mas Camp is located at 4805 10th St, NE Washington, DC 20017

Can someone else pick-up my costume?

Yes. Send an e-mail to rootsandculturepromo@gmail.com  with a carbon copy sent to the name of the individual whom will be picking up your costume. That individual will then present their picture ID and the email that was sent from you to us. Or simply contact one of our members via phone to make the necessary arrangements.

Can I pick up my costume the day of the parade ?

No.

The last day for costume pick-up is Friday, June 27th, 2008.
